There's nothing quite like the feeling of stepping into your own private resort without leaving your property. This past summer, the Bella Concrete team had the privilege of transforming a large backyard in Ancaster into a stunning luxury oasis that has become the crown jewel of the neighborhood.
The Design Goal
The client wanted a space that balanced modern sophistication with a warm, inviting atmosphere. They needed a large area for entertaining, a safe and non-slip surface for their children, and a focal point that would make a statement.
Our Implementation
We installed a custom-shaped inground pool featuring a liner that mimics the deep blue of the Caribbean. For the surround, we utilized a premium spin float finish with a decorative border, providing a clean, modern aesthetic with excellent slip resistance.
- Custom Coping: We hand-finished the pool edges with matching concrete coping for a seamless, high-end look.
- Expansive Decking: Over 1,200 sq. ft. of spin float finish decking to provide ample space for lounge chairs and an outdoor dining set.
- Integrated Lighting: Subtle accent lights were placed around the perimeter to ensure the space is as beautiful at night as it is during the day.
The Outcome
The result is a breathtaking, durable outdoor living space that requires minimal maintenance and provides maximum enjoyment. This project perfectly illustrates how thoughtful concrete design can completely elevate a home’s aesthetic and functionality.
